Raymond is president of Binns kitchen + bath design, a family owned business that has been designing kitchens and bathrooms in the greater Toronto area for over forty-five years. Raymond has been actively involved in the business for over thirty-five years. He is an accomplished Certified Kitchen Designer, a licensed Interior Designer and has received several awards including the coveted "Member of the Year" award from NKBA.

Active in the industry in general, Raymond received the "Merit Award 1996", from NKBA (USA), in recognition of exceptional service to the National Kitchen & Bath Association and its Society of Certified Kitchen Designers and its Society of Certified Bathroom Designers. Raymond has served on the Board of Directors for the National Kitchen & Bath Association, Ontario Chapter, as "Chapter Representative".

Raymond is the only two time winner of the "Business Excellence Award" from the Ajax/Pickering Board of Trade, being honoured to receive this prestigious award in 1998 and again as a second time winner in 2007. In 2001 Raymond became a member of ARIDO, a professional organization for interior designers in Ontario and is now licensed as a Registered Interior Designer. Only those individuals who meet strict qualifications are entitled to call themselves Interior Designers. Raymond has received the following awards listed on the right.
