Wood cabinets, stained barn-red, a tongue-in-groove ceiling and laminate floor create cozy country style in Angee and Herb Fleury’s kitchen in Aurora, Ont. An antique window suspended from the ceiling separates the eating and food-prep areas. Jan Regis of Binns Designer Kitchens & Baths positioned the apron-front sink and gas stove at corner angles to maximize work space. White easy-care laminate countertops and backsplashes brighten the room.
